These terms apply to all services offered by Melanie Weitbrecht ("Provider") to private individuals ("Client"), including in-person sessions, online sessions, and digital offerings in the areas of osteopathy, somatic bodywork, energy work, and coaching.
2. Services
The Provider offers sessions in psychosomatic bodywork, integrative breathing, energy work, and coaching — both in person and online (via video call).
Online sessions constitute distance treatment. The Client confirms they are physically and mentally able to participate safely. The Provider reserves the right to decline or discontinue a session if this appears not to be the case.
3. No Medical Advice
Services are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. The Provider does not diagnose, prescribe, or treat illness in the medical sense. Clients with acute or serious health conditions are advised to consult a licensed physician. Nothing communicated during sessions constitutes medical advice.
4. Booking & Cancellation
Sessions are booked via Calendly or E-Mail. Confirmation is sent by email.
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the session. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged in full. Exceptions apply in cases of documented emergency.
5. Prices & Payment
Current prices are listed at website/contact. Payment is due within 7 days of invoice. Accepted methods: bank transfer / PayPal
For EU clients outside Germany: prices are shown inclusive of applicable VAT where required by law.
6. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
Clients residing in the EU have the right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days of booking without giving reasons, provided the session has not yet taken place.
If the Client requests that the service begin within the withdrawal period, the right of withdrawal lapses once the session is completed. The Client explicitly requests early performance by confirming the booking.
Standard withdrawal form available upon request.
7. Liability
The Provider works with care and professional diligence. Liability for damages is excluded except in cases of intent or gross negligence, or where mandatory law (e.g. for bodily injury) applies.
Clients are responsible for disclosing relevant health information prior to sessions. The Provider cannot be held liable for consequences arising from withheld information.
8. Confidentiality
All session content is treated as strictly confidential.
9. Online Sessions — Technical Requirements
Clients are responsible for a stable internet connection and a suitable, private environment. The Provider is not liable for session interruptions due to technical failure on the Client's side. In the event of technical failure on the Provider's side, the session will be rescheduled at no charge.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by German law. For Clients within the EU, mandatory consumer protection provisions of the Client's country of residence remain unaffected. Place of jurisdiction (for business clients only): Brandenburg
11. Dispute Resolution
The EU Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. The Provider is not obligated to participate in arbitration proceedings but is willing to seek amicable resolution.
12. Changes to These Terms
The Provider reserves the right to update these terms. Clients will be notified of material changes. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance.
